My name is Kate and I am an independent celebrant, specialising in elopements, micro weddings and smaller ceremonies (up to 30 guests). Smaller ceremonies allow personalised and cosy celebrations tailor-made to your wishes.
With a background of working in restaurants, schools and healthcare, and currently working part-time in a nursing home, I decided to add another string to my bow and become a celebrant!
I take pleasure in bringing positivity and love into the worlds of people who would like to celebrate their weddings or civil partnership, elopements, naming ceremonies, vow renewals, or couples who would like to commit to each other without the legal ties. I am open-minded and non-judgmental. Whatever people's beliefs, culture or language, count me in!

I am fully qualified and have a Diploma in Celebrancy: Naming and Couples, trained by the only ‘Ofsted Outstanding’ training provider, Civil Ceremonies Ltd.
I also have an NCFE Certificate in Counselling.
I am a member of the Association of Independent Celebrants.

For anyone who struggles with English, I have the patience and kindness to listen and help. Having my own family members who speak English as a second language, I know how difficult it can be to tackle the language as well as trying to organise something special. I also have a TESOL qualification.
